She actually is my 3rd Josefina. I don't remember what was wrong with the first, but the second had some serious hair problems, and it's been so long that I feel funny asking them to send me a new one now. Maybe if she just went to the hospital for a new head, but I don't feel like I should have to pay for it, the bump is not my fault. Let me know what you think the best action would be for me to take. Thanks girls!

Edited to add that I did e-mail CS last night with a couple of the pictures that I put in the imagestation album and asked what they suggest hopefully they will get back to me soon with a good answer.

You don't even need the receipt to exchange her. AG has the most liberal exchange policy of anyone. As long as you can pack her back in her original box, then you just need to go the AG website and print out an exchange form. If you had called right away, AG would have sent you another doll and a shipping receipt to send back the defective one. Since it has been awhile, you will have to pay the postage to get your doll back to them, but then they will send your new doll at their cost. They definitely have some quality control issues, but they stand behind their products so you can get this resolved. If you are completely disheartened with Josefina right now, they will even let you exchange her for a different doll and you don't need to call them, email them, or send pics. Just complete the simple form and mail her back. Then just sit back and wait (may take a few weeks) for your new doll.

Is AGP as good about exchanges. I would love to pick out my own doll, I still want a Josefina, I just want her defect free! Thanks for your suggestion, now I know I at least have some way to resolve the situation.

I don't know about AGP, but if you need to, you can mail your doll in for an exchange and get some clothes or accessories with your credit. Then you could just go to the store and pick out your doll. Good luck!

Yeah, I was thinking of taking her with me to AGPLA, but I'm already going to exchange Jess because she came with a hole in her body, would two dolls look funny? I don't want to raise any suspision, but I would also LOVE to be able to pick out a good one so this doesn't keep happening. Would it be too late to exchange Josefina since I got her last August, and I think she was purchased a month before my birtday (a gift from hubby), would I need the shipping reciept (I'll have to see if I can find hers) Thanks everyone!
